Windows Address Books are stored in the files with .WAB extension and used in Microsoft mail programs, for example, in Internet Mail, Internet News and Outlook Express. You can familiarize with Address Book contents and possibilities using one from above programs.

Import Windows Address Book

You can import e-mail addresses from Address Book to Advancеd Maillist Verify using the wizard called through “File” menu. You can choose default Address Book for import or any other Address Book, just specifying the file with it. Export Windows Address Book

You can export the results of checking to Address Book using the Advancеd Maillist Verify wizard called through “File” menu. Only the results of Address Book checking can be exported, you can’t export the results of mailing list or database checking to Windows Address Book.

The export of checking results consists in the deletion emails (contacts) from Address Book. Specify, at first wizard page, the addresses you want to delete from Address Book (existent, nonexistent, unchecked or checked with “unknown” result). Pay attention, the deleted addresses can’t be restored. It is recommended to make copy of the file with Address Book. After the results exporting the program can inform that it have deleted not all contacts as you specify. The reason can be in that some contacts were entered in contacts groups (distribution list) and, so, were present in general list and distribution list at the same time. When such contact is deleted from the general list, it is automatically deleted from all contacts groups where it is.
